How much does PDTM cost?
Published DailyTM pricing varies depending on how many categories of content you wish to purchase and whether you choose a three month, six month, or one year initial membership term. Pricing generally starts at less than $1/day!
Where does the content of my newsletter come from?
The PD content comes from Writers or content providers who are selected experts in thier fields.
What does the content of my newsletter consist of?
The beauty of Published Daily is the content included in your newsletter is entirely up to you! You choose your line-up of writers, articles, fun quotes, trivia questions, RSS feeds, and much more exciting content from the PD template and Content Manager. Then, your newsletter will automatically populate with content that you select.
How often can I update my content?
Your content is updated automatically whenever a writer or content provider in your chosen category uploads new content. You can choose to approve individual articles and content before it is published in your newsletter, or you can choose to have your newsletter automatically updated with the new content. You can send your updated newsletters to your client list as often or as little as you like!
If I don't like certain content provided, may I block it?
Published Daily does give you the ability to block certain writers from contributing content to your newsletter. For example, if you notice a certain writer writes about a subject or theme you would like to avoid, you may simply block that writer.
I'm interested, but I will not have the time to maintain the newsletter.
Published Daily is designed to be a very simple and nearly effortless way to stay connected to your clients. Once you set up your initial template, your newsletter content will update automatically without any effort on your part. The only time you spend after the initial set up will be to forward the newsletter to your clients as often as you want. Even that step can be set on autopilot by subscribing to a 3rd party mailer service. They can automatically email your newsletter on your behalf based on the parameters that you set.
Am I able to customize the newsletter?
Absolutely. You are able to use PD to advertise your own services, announce new products, send special messages to your clients, insert RSS news feeds, and more. You are also able to customize the color and formatting of your newsletter through an easy-to-use Content Manager that includes color scheme selection and drag-and-drop functions.
What if I choose to sign up but cancel later? Is there a cancellation fee?
There is no cancellation fee; you may cancel at anytime. Please note that Published Daily will not refund payments that have already been made.
How do I make money as a writer? Do I get paid per article?
Published DailyTM does not pay on a per article basis. Your name will be credited for all of your articles and you will be given ad space every time your articles are displayed. This results in new distribution channels and enhanced exposure for your content. You can use PD to up your ante as a writer and advertise your own books, articles, products or services that you have published.
If you are a media company or institutional content provider, PDTM serves as a distribution channel for your content and multiplies the advertising channels available to your advertisers. In other words, PD grows your circulation and advertising revenue with little or no cost to you. Additionally, writers may earn revenue by participating in the PD Affiliate Program.
Is there a contract?
Yes, writers sign a contract with Published Daily that covers all the details of the business relationship. The contract includes information regarding copyright issues, the number of your articles that may be published in a particular time span, and the substance and subject matter of the articles.
How many articles must I provide to PD in order to be an approved writer?
PD is looking for a minimum of 4 articles per month from each approved writer. This number can be modified depending on the category you are writing for, the quality of your writing, and whether you are a media company or an institutional content provider.
How many words per article?
400 - 1200 words. You can break up long articles into shorter versions (part 1, 2, etc.) that can be published one after the other.
Who can write for PD?
Published Daily is looking for writers who are passionate about their subject matter! You should be an expert in one or more categories of: Personal Finance, Housing, Lifestyle, Health, Inspirational/Religious, or Business to Business.
Must I be a member to write for PD?
No. However, writers have the option of becoming Published Daily members.
Is there anything I may NOT publish in the PD newsletter?
Please review the Published Daily Terms of Use & Privacy Policy for restricted content. Also, the banner ads you choose to upload and display alongside your articles must not advertise for any service that is likely to be competitive with the PD members in your category. For example, if you are a doctor in private practice who is also a PD writer for the Health category, your banner ads can advertise your books, CDs, or other intellectual property offerings, but not for the medical services that you offer in private practice. Advertising for your medical services would be directly competitive with the doctors who subscribe to content from the health category of PD. On the other hand, advertising your books, CDs and other intellectual property offerings is not directly competitive.
Who will read my articles? Who is my target audience? What can I write?
Published Daily content gets distributed to the customers and prospects of Published Daily members. Therefore, the content you provide needs to be geared toward the end users - the consumers who will be reading our members' customizable newsletters. For example, if your content is focused on personal finance, it would need to be relevant to customers (end users) of mortgage banks, financial planners, CPAs, and attorneys. If your content is focused on lifestyle, it would need to be relevant to the customers (end users) of hair stylists, salon owners, clothing and other retailers dealing in lifestyle products and services.
Will all PD members view my content?
The professionals and their clients who have chosen to receive information in your category will view your content.
